Its been two years now but I still think of you from time to time. When you left us, a part of my childhood disappeared, too. I will always remember the many times we played sports together. Monday, August 09, 2004 at 05:13:39 - Crown Point, IN Mark Baumgardner, Jr | Email I remember the night that brownie showed up for his interview with the civil defense (EMA). He wore a suite with a tie, combed hair, shinny shoes...the works! I just kept thinking to myself, "you've gotta be kidding me!" Well, after his interview, I took him out to eat, and we talked forever! And, talking to him, I realized his true passion for helping others. Well, once he became an officer with civil defense, we were 'partnered up' together at the LC fair at Greenwood and Lake st. We had the greatest time together. Playing in traffic, getting girls' numbers, anything else you can think of that would've kept us occupied! That was just one of the many memories that I have with our friend, Mikey! Brownie is the most beautiful, honest, loving, caring, (the list can go on forever) person that I have ever had the pleasure to know! And, I would just like to say, 'thank you' to the Brown family for giving me the honor to be a Paul barer. It meant so much to me! I am sorry I haven’t been around lately, but I've been over here, in the U.S. Air Force, and hope to be home soon! I miss ya brownie, and we'll all be back together with you soon!
