Hey Mike, of course you were the first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning.you were on my mind most of the day. I have to agree with Jason and really wonder when I will stop mourning your loss and celebrate the great life you had. Miss you everyday and we will see you again some day.

Hey Mike,

It's been another year and I'm running out of things to say. I miss ya buddy. Thanks for the 2-0 start for the Bears. When will I learn to celebrate your life instead of mourning it?? Anyways, take care of all of us, and I'll see you again, eventually.

Mike, I miss you every day. I know we talk often but it is not the same as meeting you face to face. As you know, all is great here. From the bottom of our heart, thank you for giving me the past four years to see my grand children continue to grow, to become close friends with my children, and to spend more time with my wife Sue. I hope I have more time here, but if not, you have given me the greatest gift any man can ask for. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My only connection to Mikey was long after he was gone. Reading these entries, it is hard not to wish that I had known him while he was alive and easy to be grateful that I had the chance to be associated with him and his family at all.
